Approaching the Great Divide.

G'day. We have now moved along the Murray Valley into more hilly terrain. Yesterday had lunch at Rutherglen, then crept past the Hume dam and Wadonga to a camp just south of Tallangatta, called Pigs Point. It is a lovely grassy, shady spot next to the flowing Mitta Mitta River.
Spent last night by a campfire with Jim, Corina and John. Enjoyed the company, fire and stars.
We have decided to change plans and cross the Divide more near Kozcuiszco. The Omeo road is under repair and not really suited to towing vans. This will take us thru to Southern NSW.
It is good to be flexable and be able to make it up as we go. Also not many cheap camps in North Coastal Victoria.
Have no phone signal at this camp so uploaded this when in tallangatta for supplies.
We are enjoying the cooler weather now and loving the mountain scenery.
Hope all is good at home.
