Waterfall Way.

Last few days on the coast we had heaps of rain. Every thing was getting wet and muddy.
We had the back canopy window repaired at Kempsey. Looks great and actually stops the water getting in.
Once we managed to dry everything off, we packed up and headed to Kempsey and did some washing at the laundramat. From here we were planning on following the MacLeay River through to Armidale, via Bellbird camp. But when we started to head out that road we came accross a "ROAD CLOSED" sign. So turned around and headed via Waterfall Way instead.

It was quite nice too. We found a good
camp here at Thora. Nice grassy park in a tiny town. Views out over valley and mountains. Lovely assortment of large trees. Free with flushing dunny's. Now thats a bit fancy.
Today enjoyed checking out some waterfalls and world heritage rain forests.
Loved the view from the skywalk and the display in the Dorrigo National Park. About the flora, fauna in the rain forest and the volcanic and geological history of the Ebor Escarpment.
No wonder it's such an amazing wilderness made out of volcanic rock, it's rich dark soil and heaps of rain and mist. Gondwana Paradise.
Was a really enjoyable day.
Also had a nice chat with Karlie, Madison and Owen on the phone tonight. That made me feel less home sick.
Bye.x
